It is characterised by its dark amber colour, with reddish-green hues when liquid, and its intense, long-lasting aroma. With a less sweet taste and pleasant bitter notes, it tends to remain liquid for a long time due to its high fructose content. Ideal for pairing with mature cheeses, such as pecorino and goat's cheese, as well as ricotta, or for enhancing both sweet and savoury recipes.
