Il fiorino Pecorino "Riserva del Fondatore"

The Pecorino Riserva del Fondatore is an award-winning cheese known worldwide, and this year it has once again received a gold medal at the World Awards. Its production follows the ancient methods of traditional cheesemaking: it is an aged pecorino matured in the natural Fiorini caves. With an intense flavour and rich notes of dried fruit, Pecorino Riserva del Fondatore has a firm, compact texture. A true “meditation cheese” to be enjoyed on its own, it can be paired with a glass of champagne or a good Weiss beer. It is excellent with a touch of acacia honey or fig jam, as well as seasonal fresh fruit or dried fruit.
